When people are forced to leave their homes, they often take only what they can carry. On these dangerous routes, mobile phones are more than just a means of communication—they are a lifeline. They allow us to stay in touch with loved ones, navigate, seek help, and remain informed about important developments. But without electricity, this tool is useless.
What we do
Through the Energy for Everyone (EFE) project, Imece brings a simple yet powerful solution directly to those who need it most: solar power banks. These devices give refugees back a minimum level of self-reliance. Instead of relying on a power outlet or assistance from others, they can independently charge their phones using only solar energy.
The power banks are manufactured in an environmentally friendly way and designed for harsh operating conditions – robust, weatherproof and easy to transport. They represent both sustainability and direct impact.
Energy for All (EFE) is more than a technology project – it is a symbol of unity. It brings light to dark times, connects families, and saves lives.
